Photo Graffix File Upload and File Overwrite Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
ahmadbady has discovered two vulnerabilities in Photo Graffix, which
can be exploited by malicious people to manipulate certain files and
to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) A vulnerability is caused due to mp3upload.php not properly
restricting the upload of files with arbitrary extensions and being
accessible without authentication. This can be exploited to upload
and execute arbitrary PHP code.

2) Input passed to the "tdir" parameter is not properly verified
before being used to write to files. This can be exploited to write
to arbitrary files with the permissions of the web server.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow to inject and
execute arbitrary PHP code, but requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is
disabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.4. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict network access to the application to trusted users only.
