Magic ISO Maker CCD Processing Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
SkD has discovered a vulnerability in Magic ISO Maker, which can be
exploited by malicious people to potentially compromise a user's
system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing
of CCD images. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer
overflow by tricking the user into opening a CCD file having an
overly long line.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 5.5 build 0274. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted image files with Magic ISO Maker.
